The São Paolo Pride Parade, officially titled the Parada do Orgulho LGBTQ de São Paulo, is one of the largest Pride Parades in the world! It takes place annually on the Sunday after Corpus Christi in June.
Several million people from all over the world attend the March, which includes several dozen floats, as it moves from the Museu de Arte de São Paulo to the Praça Roosevelt in downtown São Paolo.
The Parade starts in the afternoon, usually around 2 pm, and doesn't end until after 10 pm. Government officials often ride in the floats. It's one of the largest events in all of South America and an ultimate celebration of Pride for the entire region.
